Shawn McKenzie


shawnmckenzie Shawn McKenzie is a faculty member in Environmental Health Sciences at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is the “Farming for the Future” Program Director at the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future, where he works to address the environmental and public health impacts of industrial agriculture, promote more sustainable alternatives, and raise awareness about the public health - agriculture relationship.  After receiving an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994, Shawn worked internationally for UNICEF and the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs in Central Asia and Southeast Asia managing child survival and maternal health projects.
